Frequently Asked Questions
Many of our Educated Path clients ask questions like these…
Will this guarantee I get into my chosen university or college?
No, but our services will help with the decision-making process. Our aim is to give you all the information you need to make an educated choice about your future.
If I am unsuccessful in a required class does that mean I can’t get into my college or university I picked?
Yes. You will still need to meet the admission requirements and may have to take missing courses or credits before you submit your application.
My transcripts are over 8 years old. Can I still apply to a college or university?
Yes. Although some schools will not allow you to transfer courses from 5, 10, 15 years ago, you can still use that transcript for admission purposes.
If I decide to take a gap year after getting my Educated Path Report, will the report still be valid a year or two later?
Educated Path Reports are only valid for 1 academic year as schools grow and change. A reassessment may be needed when you choose to re-apply.
Many of our International Educated Path Report clients ask questions like these…
Will you assist with immigration?
No. Our goal is to ensure you pick the right school to fulfill your education goals.
Will you apply to the college or university on my behalf?
Once you’ve selected a school based on your report, you will apply directly through the school. Each school has resources that will assist you with the application process.
Are you an agent?
No. In 2011, the Government of Canada amended the Immigration and Refugee Act to make it illegal for anyone but an authorized representative to charge fees to help people with immigration and refugee applications to Canada.
What happens if the admission requirements for my school changes after I receive the Report?
Your Report is based on the school’s requirements, but you will have to adhere to their rules and regulations even if they change. Our Reports are only valid for 1 academic year. After that, a reassessment is recommended.
Will you assess my international transcripts?
No, at this time we do not assess international transcripts.
