You’re looking for more than just the right school. You’re looking for a school that wants you to succeed.

How do I know? I’ve been in your shoes.

In elementary school, my teachers told my parents that I might have a learning disability. Two years later, I was assessed and received accommodations. These learning supports helped me get through the rest of elementary and high school. However, my first year of university quickly revealed that these learning supports, and tools were not enough to get me through.

During this challenging time, I was fortunate enough to get a full psychological assessment that identified my learning disability as Specific Learning Disability – Math Reading and Written expressive disorder. In other words I was in big trouble. After receiving my report, I felt that it might be too late to catch up, so I ended up dropping out of my first university program. I was left with the depressing feeling that I would never complete my degree.

After some guidance from my family, I decided to use my learning disability report and take control of my education. I knew any program was going to be a struggle, so it was critical that I both understood my learning needs and did my research to know what school would be best for me. Following this process, I chose a business program with the right classes and student support to ensure I could be successful.

Since then, I’ve used this process to find the right schools and programs to complete my College Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree, and to now be working on my Ph.D. Pretty neat for a girl who thought her academic journey would end after her 1st year!

An Educated Path Report would have helped me figure out which schools and programs were right for me the first time, not the 5th time.

Let’s get you started on the right path, the first time.
